After the heavy rains last week, we are encouraged to see how our community has mobilized to mālama each other, from Waiālua to Kaʻaʻwa. We mahalo all who are helping ʻohana with recovery at this time.

What to Expect
A 15- to 25-minute guided hike to the kīpuka. While the hike can be done by children, climbing the 150-yard hill makes for challenging cardio.
Working with hands and handtools.
Conversation, learning, and observing the land (kilo).
A focus on being present with ʻāīna and each other. While social media is allowed, please limit usage.
Supporting each other to keep everyone safe.
Contributing however you feel is most comfortable for you.
What to Bring
Water. Please make sure you and your ʻohana stay hydrated.
Footwear. Terrain may be uneven, muddy, slippery, and beautiful. Hiking shoes are highly encouraged.
Work Clothes. Expect to get dirty. Light long sleeve tops and pants are preferred. Gloves are optional but encouraged.
Swim Clothes. If you want to rinse off in the stream.
Medications. If you have allergies or medical conditions.
Mess Kit. Pack out any items or rubbish you bring in.
Good Intentions. What we put into the land is what it gives us in return.
Where to Meet
Meet by 9am at the Water Tower at the top of California Ave. Park on the street. Please do not block our neighbors' driveways or mailboxes.
